Mark Mulholland & Kid Loco

Ports of Call are releasing a song called “Another Sunset”, a collaboration from Mark Mulholland and the French trip-hop pioneer Kid Loco.

Mark Mulholland co-wrote and recorded a song, “Playing with the Big Boys”, with the French trip-hop pioneer Kid Loco, which was released as a single in October 2024, and also features on Kid Loco’s latest album, “Concrete Islands, Lies & Vanités”, which came out in November 2024. Mark then recorded a “rock’n’roll remix” of the song, produced by Kid Loco, and released by his label in May 2025, followed in September by a further remix, by the Parisian electronic duo Zaabriskie.

The collaboration has continued, with Kid Loco producing and playing on a song of Mark’s, called “Another Sunset”, which Ports of Call are releasing as a single on 28/11/25. The pair have continued their work together, with another single, “All the Rock’n’Roll Stories”, due for release in early 2025.
